On arrival, you will visit the Yuyuan garden, which is an old traditional garden. It has history that dates back to over 400 years and is filled with graceful buildings, ponds, rockeries, and pavilions. Strolling around the garden creates the sensation as though you’ve been transported back to the ancient times of China.(Yuyuan garden close on Monday, if you book the tour on Monday, please choose Jade Buddha temple instead).
The Bund (Wai Tan)
Next, head to the famous Bund area, where you can see the beautiful skyline including the Shanghai Tower (the second tallest in the world), Pearl TV Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center. You surely will be amazed by the prosperous Bund view. You also can choose to stroll along from Riverside Promenade (Binjiang Da Dao) and look towards to west side of Shanghai city.
