A fully private experience allows you to go on your own pace. with an instructor with 10+ years of experience we keep this experience personalized and the service high. We are able to adjust the program to the more nervous or more adventurous participants as we don’t hold a strict time limit.

What's included in Private First-Time Dive on Aruba’s Reef and Wreck Site
(Subject to Option Inclusions)The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is perfect for first time divers or participants who are not certified divers. First all participants will receive a full 20 minute safety instruction on land. We’ll talk about the dive plan, how the equipment works, marine life and more. Then its time to practice and get comfortable in shallow water. This involves some exercises. Once all participants (max 4) are comfortable with their equipment its time for a real dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet. You’ll see lots of marine life, coral reef and even a shipwreck on our usual DSD divesite.

- Must have basic swimming skills
- Please keep at least 18 hours between your dive and any flight.
- Must fill out the medical questionnaire we’ll provide over the messaging board and bring this to the program.
Meet
Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
We’ll pick you up 30 minutes before your tour starts, so that’s 8:30 AM for a 9:00 AM tour, or 1:00 PM for a 1:30 PM tour. We’ll meet you right outside the main entrance of your hotel or apartment. Keep an eye out for us in bright-colored, long-sleeved shirts with the Underdog Divers logo on them, easy to spot!
Meeting / End Points
- We’ll set up on the ocean side of the road, near the Mangel Halto Beach sign and the wooden bridge that leads to the beach. We wear bright colored long sleeved shirts with the Underdog Divers logo on it. So you can’t miss us. It’s easy to find, just type “Mangel Halto Beach Sign” into Google Maps.
