Meet your certified guide and your private driver at the pier of the port of Cagliari for a 1-hour drive to Su Nuraxi, comfortably seated in an air-conditioned vehicle. Your driver will drop you off at the archaeological site of Barumi, the largest in Sardinia.
Su Nuraxi
Accompanied by your guide, and at the rhythm of explanations and anecdotes shared by them, you will discover, at your own pace this site classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour, your guide will introduce you to the largest nuragic fortress. Around the nuraghe is a maze of narrow alleys with about fifty huts, wells and cisterns. Thanks to your guide, you will enter the structure through small narrow doors, and discover every corner of this ancient fortified site. The visit will continue with the discovery of the village of Barumini, and its famous Casa Zapata, a 17th century stately home built on the ruins of a nuraghe. Finally, your guide will introduce you to the Centro Giovanni Lilliu, an archaeological museum that gathers many objects discovered during excavations.
