This tour leads to one of the most beautiful areas of Germany, the region of Berchtesgaden, also known as the Bavarian Alps Region. It covers the most important attractions of this area: the historical site of the Eagle´s Nest up on the top of Mount Kehlstein at an altitude of 6.017 ft.(1.835 m) with a breathtaking view across the Bavarian Alps, a visit of the salt mines inside the salt mountain on a guided tour and a lovely boat ride on the crystal-clear Lake Königssee. A break in the charming mountain town Berchtesgaden is also part of this tour.
As the Eagles Nest is closed from November til May the tour leads to the Rossfield mountain area instead at the approx. same altitude with a fantastic view across the Bavarian Alps.
