The adventure begins in Zurich, when your tour guide picks you up at your hotel and we journey to Chur by train. The mountains open up as we trace our way through the Rhine Gorge, familiarly called the Swiss Grand Canyon, to the charming mountain village of Disentis, where we stop for an authentic lunch and sightseeing.
Our train leads us 2000 m. (6560 ft.) to the glaciers over the Oberalp Pass, where we descend to the alpine ski village of Andermatt and return to Zurich.
