The PADI Open Water Diver course has three phases: Knowledge Development for basics, Confined Water Dives in a pool-like setting to practice skills, and Open Water Dives for your initial ocean experiences. Training briefly covers the dive's start, allowing more time to explore with your instructor. After approval of your open water dives, you're certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, enabling lifelong access to dive globally down to 18 meters!
