Otaru Museum, Bank of Japan
This historic stone building is the Former Bank of Japan Otaru Branch, built in 1912. It shows how important Otaru once was as a major economic center in Hokkaido. Inside, you can see a real bank vault and even try lifting a stack of 100 million yen! It’s a fun and fascinating way to experience Otaru’s rich past. （Wednesday closed)
