After a morning pickup from your hotel, you’ll travel comfortably in a private vehicle to Tiananmen Square. You’ll explore China’s history by visiting the National Museum of China and the Great Hall of the People. A must-see site is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, along with the Forbidden City. A delicious dumpling lunch is provided at a local restaurant, and then the next stop is the Great Wall of China. To avoid the crowds, you’ll visit a typically less-crowded section of the wall called Mutianyu. Once you’re at the Great Wall, you’ll have the freedom to hike for about two hours. Don’t worry about tired legs—you can take a cable car halfway up to begin your walk. For the ride down, you can choose the cable car again or opt for the more adventurous option of riding a toboggan. The day concludes with a return to your hotel.

Located in the heart of modern China and the site for massive parades and rallies, this was the site when in 1949, from a rostrum on the Gate of Heavenly Peace, Chairman Mao announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
Consisting of more than 9,000 rooms and spread over 250 acres, this huge palace complex was built in the 15th century and later extensively renovated and restored during the Qing Dynasty in the 18th century
The Great Wall of China is an ancient fortification, more than 13,000 miles (21,000 kilometers) in length—it’s also China’s top attraction. Parts of the wall are in poor condition but this tour visits the popular Mutianyu section, which has undergone a complete restoration—and even features a toboggan!
