You’ll witness the traditional distillation process, from harvesting agave to underground roasting. Enjoy a tasting session to savor the distinct flavors and styles of mezcal.
Palenque Mal De Amor
Visit to Agave Fields Distance: Short drive from Mal de Amor Arrival time: 12:30 PM Visit duration: 1 hour Description / Recommendation: Next, visit the nearby agave fields and explore the different varieties of maguey used in mezcal production. Stroll through the fields, learning about the significance of agave to Oaxacan culture and its sustainable cultivation.
