This tour showcases the highlights of the Netherlands, including windmills, a cheese farm, and a charming old town, but in a very non-touristic way.
Rarely visited by tourists, this tour will give you a memorable experience designed to take the guests away from touristic Amsterdam.

Schermerhorn is located in a rural setting and is a unique location famous for its windmills. The region is home to several windmills, most built for water management. We will visit one of the active windmills where you will learn about how windmills have been effectively used for water management for several decades and as a living space at the same time. Admission fee to the museum is not included (€7 PP).
Alkmaar is a small, picturesque town that got its city rights back in the 13th century. Surrounded by beautiful city canals on its border, the city is home to 400 monumental buildings. Every Friday, between March and September, the town hosts a cheese market dating back several centuries. Apart from the weekly cheese market, one gets to see windmills, old weighing houses, merchant homes, and the famous courtyards.
We will take you to one of the authentic cheese farms owned by a Dutch family. Learn about how Dutch cheese is made, visit the barn housing hundreds of Dutch cows, and take some cheese back with you.
