Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area
Lake and mountain scenery: Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural lake in Taiwan. The lake is divided into Sun Lake and Moon Lake by Lalu Island. It is surrounded by mountains and is breathtakingly beautiful. Water activities: Visitors can take a yacht tour around the lake to enjoy the scenery of the lake and mountains from different angles, or they can go canoeing, ride water bikes, etc. Cultural experience: There are cultural attractions such as Xuanguang Temple and Wenwu Temple in the surrounding area, where you can visit and learn about the local history and culture.
Gaomei Wetland
- Formerly known as Gaomei Wildlife Reserve, it is located on the south side of the Dajia River estuary in Qingshui, covering an area of 1,500 hectares. It has rich ecological and landscape resources. No matter from which angle or lens you look at it, the orange sunset coupled with the huge windmills in the distance makes it seem like you are in a picture. It is a classic beauty that you absolutely cannot miss.
