Our bus tour takes you to at the base of Mt. Fuji. If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and we have determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to an alternative facility.
The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line or the highest point accessible. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
[Only for with Lunch option] Enjoy a Japanese-style meal with tea/coffee. Aside from a Japanese-style meal, available menus include a Vegetarian meal, Muslim-friendly meal, and Indian thali meal. Please make a request when booking. During the lunch break, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. • If you have arrived at the pickup location but have trouble finding the meeting point, you can call the local operator JTB Sunrise Tours on +81 3 5796 5454 (Operated between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Japan time) for assistance. • In case bookings have been made separately, you may be assigned to be on separate tour buses. • Please make sure you go to the correct pickup location for the location you selected at the time of booking. You cannot change your pickup location without confirmation from the local tour operator • Bringing a coat or additional warm clothing is recommended especially in the spring, autumn and winter • This tour will depart regardless of weather or traffic conditions, unless you are notified otherwise. Viator and your local tour provider will not be responsible for poor visibility of Mt Fuji or itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances • If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, or weather conditions, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park.
