Set out on an engaging day tour to Etna Park, where you'll travel up to the Sapienza Refuge, reaching an impressive altitude of 1,986 meters. Marvel at the panoramic views and learn about the fascinating geology of Mount Etna from your guide, who will explain how the craters and lava tunnels were formed. Observe both recent volcanic eruptions and the historic Silvestri craters that date back to the 1892 eruption. Equipped with a helmet and headlamp, explore a lava cave (when conditions allow) to gain a deeper understanding of lava flow formations. Finally, visit a renowned local farm where you’ll have the chance to sample a variety of regional products, including honey, olive oil, and wine, capturing the essence of Sicily’s culinary traditions
