Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings, Luxor The Valley of the Kings is one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring archaeological sites, located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor. This ancient royal necropolis served as the burial ground for pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BCE), including the legendary Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II.

Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), is one of the most magnificent and well-preserved temples in Egypt. It is located beneath the towering cliffs of Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile, near Luxor. This stunning structure was built during the 18th Dynasty (c. 1479–1458 BCE) to honor Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s greatest female pharaohs.
