Kuching
Build sometime before the nineteenth century (the temple claims 1770 as the founding year) Tua Pek Kong is the oldest Chinese Temple in the city and one of the most popular.

The Astana was build in 1870 by the second White Raja Charles Brooke as a wedding gift to his wife Margaret Alice Lili de Windt. The residence was originally three separate buildings with each connected to the other by short and narrow passageway. The Astana has since undergone major renovations and alterations befitting it as the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak.
