Children with a height of 150cm and above will be charged the same rate as adults
There is no luggage storage on site
The return time on the day is before 17:00. An extension fee will be charged for late return of the kimono. Every ten minutes is 1,000 yen per person. (cash payment)
The fee for returning kimono on the next day is 550 yen per person: it can be extended to return the kimono on the next day. If necessary, please communicate with the staff on the day and pay on site.
Kimono Insurance: In-store exemption system. If you are worried about damage to your kimono, you can purchase additional items in the store. (Please ask the store clerk for details)
Due to safety considerations, this product cannot be provided to pregnant passengers. We apologize for your understanding.
Kimono selection and dressing time takes about 1 hour to 1 and a half hours.
Depending on the conditions on the day, you may have to wait on site, please forgive us.

You can put on a kimono and stroll along the ancient streets, fully immersing yourself in the local traditional culture. After arriving at the rental store, multilingual staff will serve you in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Okimonoya provides professional services to make wearing kimono easy. You can return the kimono before 17:00 on the same day, or pay a low fee to extend it to the next day and experience the Kyoto night.
