On this tour we will meet one of the most magical towns in all of Ireland: this Howth Peninsula is loaded with legends, secret trails, forests, and cliffs. It is a tour to spend the whole day, with which the guide makes every effort to ensure that the group interacts and enjoys.
We will do a totally unknown route for tourists, very typical of the inhabitants of Howth, so that magic essence is maintained throughout the tour. Movie landscapes, fairy tales, hiking and fresh air in a special group. Are you going to miss it?
The route is about 11 km and we cross forests and climb to some summit, so it is essential to have appropriate footwear to walk through the field (sneakers or hiking boots). We will also have a picnic in the forest (food not included). The train ticket is purchased at the meeting point.
We will start the tour visiting the fishing port of this typical Irish town, where with any luck we can see a gray seal. From there, based on the weather, we will decide our next point on the itinerary: we can visit Howth Castle, learn about the history of Ireland's most famous pirate captain, tour the beautiful rhododendron garden, go back in time to visit a dolmen and know its legend, we will go up to Muck Rock where we will have the best view of the bay of Dublin, we will cross a forest where we will have a picnic (it is recommended to bring something to eat), next to the fairy houses. From there, we will head towards the famous Howth cliffs, where the view of the Baily Lighthouse overwhelms. We will finish the tour walking along the cliffs and descending to the best known fishing village in eastern Ireland.
We will see at the back of a spectacular landscape the wonderful Baily Lighthouse, one of the icons of Howth and a magnificent place to take photos.
We will pass in front of Howth Castle, which is full of stories and legends such as that related to pirate captain Grace O´Malley
