The Central Terminus has been extended to provide covered, temperature controlled arrival and waiting areas for up to 1,300 people. In addition to reducing passenger waiting times by over 70%, visitors will be greeted by a dynamic, engaging and brand-new entertainment experience. The new experience introduces 5 engaging zones that include: Eye of Infinity, The Beating Heart, An Icon is Born, Once Upon a Tram, and Go Wild at the Peak at the Central Terminus. A new and informative Audio-Visual display at the Peak Terminus has also been created. The comprehensive redevelopment has been meticulously engineered to offer local and non-local visitors a spectacular passenger experience.

- The Peak Tram and The Peak Tower -

The Peak Tram is one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways. Opened in May 1888, the double reversible funicular railway, as it is technically known, rises from 33m to 396m above sea level along a 1.27 km track with a gradient of between 4 to 25.7 degrees. As one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist attractions, the Peak Tram terminates at The Peak Tower shopping and entertainment complex, which has some of the world's greatest panoramic views. 

The Peak Tower is one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable icons and is a leading tourist destination. The Peak Tower also offers exciting signature restaurants with stunning views, as well as a number of innovative casual dining outlets. A unique festival-market-style shopping arcade and spectacular special-effects lighting, both inside and out, also serve to make The Peak Tower one of Hong Kong’s most compelling leisure destinations for residents and tourists alike. 

Located at 428 metres above sea level, Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing terrace in Hong Kong offers stunning 360-degree spectacular panoramic views of our vibrant city – from the stunning cityscape to the tranquillity of green landscapes, across Victoria Harbour and the South China Sea.

  • Sky Terrace 428 Operating Hours: 10 am to 10 pm (Mon - Fri) and 8 am to 10 pm (Sat, Sun & Public Holidays)
  • Adult: aged 12-64 / Child^: aged 3-11 / Senior^: aged 65 or above (^Proof of age must be shown upon request)
  • There is no time restriction for the return trip of the cable car. The last cable car departs at 11:00 pm
  • The quality of the view cannot be guaranteed under certain circumstances such as adverse weather. Tickets cannot be refund or exchange under such circumstances.
  • Surcharge on published rate basis will be enforceable if any children/seniors are subject to adult price, or cannot provide identification of age.
  • No amendment/cancellation will be accepted upon completion of the booking with receipt of payment
  • Ticket(s) are valid on the date specified upon purchase only. It is invalid after the expiration date and no refunds or extensions are provided.
  • Admission tickets will be forfeited for absentees without refund
  • Used, Invalid, Incomplete or Expired ticket will not be accepted
  • All tickets need to be used on the same date of visit.
  • For a smoother experience, it is recommended to visit before 2:00 pm, as peak hours are from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on weekends, when you may need to wait in line to enter. Additionally, during peak hours, crowd control measures will be in effect for The Peak Tram and The Peak Tower | Sky Terrace 428
  • The business partner/ticket holder bears all liabilities to protect the ticket to prevent it from damage, counterfeit or misused, misprinted or mispresented, especially the QR code area which must be scanned at the admission gate of the Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428
