Hiking Medvednica & Medvedgrad Castle
On this beautiful tour, we will pick you up at your accommodation between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., after which we will head to the starting position of our trail.
On our way to the mountain hut Grafičar, where it is possible to have lunch, we will stop and visit a medieval gem – a delightful castle dating back to the mid-13th century. There you can enjoy exploring the castle and have the most beautiful view of the city of Zagreb.
After visiting the castle, we continue our tour to the mountain hut. Depending on your physical ability and mood, we can either head to the mountain peak at 1036m above sea level or return to the city.

What's included in Hiking Medvednica & Medvedgrad Castle
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Embark on a morning adventure right from your hotel doorstep! After a short drive, we arrive at the beginning of the hiking trail. The path leads us through a beautiful deciduous forest, along the Kraljevac stream all the way to the spring - Kraljičin Zdenac. From Zdenac, we will continue to Medvedgrad Castle where you will have a chance to explore it and enjoy by far the most beautiful views on the foothills of Medvednica and the entire city of Zagreb. Afterwards, we continue with our adventure heading to the Grafičar mountain lodge. There we will revitalize our energy with the flavors of traditional continental cuisine. After lunch, depending on the condition and mood of our group, we will head either to the top of the mountain called Sljeme or back to the city. Return to Zagreb in the late afternoon.
