This popular hike is part of the Camino de Santiago and it offers not only an impressive trail along the coast, but also includes the visit to the most beautiful villages! The tour starts in San Sebastian, where after meeting and greeting we will take a bus to the beautiful Pasai San Pedro. From there, we will cross to Donibane (San Juan) on a little boat. After the cultural and sightseeing tour in Donibane, we will head to the trailhead at the western side of the entrance of the Bay, in an area called Puntas by locals. The first ascension is steep, but we will take our time resting as needed to get all the way up to the top of the hill. From there we will walk the road that leads to "el faro de la Plata" (lighthouse), and we will take the mandatory pictures! Then we will enter the trail that runs half the way on the ocean side of Mount Ulia. The walk runs along the sea, first through the greenery, and then overlooking the rugged coastline with constant views of the sea. A walk that is impossible to beat! After about two and a half hours we will arrive at the side of the mountain that faces San Sebastian. On our descent we will enjoy the magnificent views of the city!
