As the owner/operator of Henley's Private Tours,I am a local resident in the area. I created this private New Orleans tour, that not only delves into the history from the beginning, but goes goes beyond the typical tourist paths for a comprehensive experience of the city.

2 Plantations (on the river)
Two Plantations on the river: Total 6 hours - Transport and tour of 2 plantations (Food/Drinks and admission to Plantation are NOT included in pricing.)
Private tour: Travel to Plantations and hear about wetlands, History, cultures, slavery, etc.
Duration: 6 hours: Total of t hours, withe transportation to and from Plantations (Food, drinks, nor admission are included in tour pricing.

Mississippi
We will stop and observe the River that started it all here in 1699.
French Quarter
Drive thru a section of the French Quarter and explain where and why it was constructed.
Jackson Square
We will stop and discuss Saint Louis Cathedral, Battle of New Orleans, and Cafe Du Monde.
Inclusions
- Includes very Knowledgeable, Experienced and Licensed tour guide on this private tour.
- Transportation in New Orleans area usually in a comfortable, customized full size van.
- Several stops and many Photo Opportunities are included on this tour.
- Usually includes a lunch stop for lunch, or coffee, beignets, and/or ice cream. (At guests expense)
- Room for 6 adults with luggage
- Can include a wheelchair or walker if needed for mobility issues. However, very little walking required.

Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 15 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
We can pick you up at most of the hotels, B&B's, and ports in the New Orleans area. Airport pickup and out of town pickups may require an additional fee depending on how long it takes. Just call or text to let us know where and when you need the pickup. (Airport is 20-30 minutes from start of tour.)
Meeting / End Points
- If your group is driving into New Orleans, we can meet at Basin Street station.

We only ask that you are on time for tour. We are usually flexible for your start times, but always prefer you are 5-10 minutes early to insure we have enough time to show you what you want to see. This is not about us, this is a private tour about for your group only. Please see the details of the tour to understand most of what this experience is about and the many stops we make.
