Introduction and Demonstration: Welcome to our event venue Aiko-ya, a community space with a traditional Japanese setting. Aiko-sensei introduces Ikebana principles and provides a live Ikebana demonstration. 2. Hands-On Ikebana Creation: Under Aiko-sensei's guidance, try the step-by-step Ikebana process and techniques. Trim and manicure the selected seasonal flowers and foliage. Craft your unique Ikebana display, connecting nature to Japanese philosophy. 3. Personalized Guidance: Aiko-sensei provides individual feedback, helping you fine-tune your arrangement. 4. Capture the Moment: Preserve memories with photos of you and your Ikebana display. 5. Green Tea and Japanese Sweets: Relax with some green tea and traditional Japanese sweets, and light post-workshop discussion.

  • Walk up the hill to our newly-renovated traditional event space, Aiko-ya. We have a wooden sign on the walkway beside our space for your guidance. The closest stop by public transit is the Ishiibashi (石井橋) bus stop of the Kobe City bus line #7.
