Your circular route begins along the lake’s western shore, gliding past Hallstatt’s historic old town where houses cling to steep mountainsides and the spire of the iconic Evangelical Church pierces the sky. As we move along the shoreline, you'll hear the story of how this village, rich in salt mining history, developed over thousands of years. This tour is designed for all skill levels, with a gentle pace and plenty of opportunities to rest, learn, and connect with the stunning Alpine environment. - From the main pedestrianized center of Hallstatt walk south along Seestraße and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you see the gas station at the southern end of the village. The parking lot P1 is located immediately after the gas station on the main road around the lake.
