Half Day Tour : Spinalonga and Kritsa Village with Lunchbox
Our Tour begins from Elounda Village where we will take a short boat-ride to the Island of Spinalonga . Spinalonga Island is the last leper colony of Europe , that originally the Venetians fortified the island in 1579 , by builinding a fortress with 40 cannons (the story says that there are the most well-preserved walls in Europe ) . The ruins of the Market street with the shops , the hospital and many small houses in which lepers lived isolated , can by explored on your own . Our next stop will be the Village of Kritsa that we'll spent the next 1,5h , it's a beautiful small village in the mountains foothills , with narrow winding lanes and plenty of character . Renowned for the skill of the local weavers and embroiderers , many tourists visit just to see the beautiful lacework , table cloths and other cloths on display and for sale in the village . Next and last stop will be at an Olive oil factory that you'll see how olive oil is made and bottled .

Elounda Crete
Approximately 1hour after the travelers are picked-up , we will arrive at Elounda Village , to begin our journey to the famous Island of Spinalonga . After we get off the bus , will get on board to start sailing to the Island of the living-dead .
Spinalonga
After approximately a 15'minute boat ride , we will arrive at the Island of Spinalonga . The travelers will have (approximately) an hour and a half to explore the island on there own , with help from a map that we will provide the travelers with . -Spinalonga Island Entrance fee: 08,00€ per person ( Exceptions : 4€ for pensioners if you are an EU citizen, ID needed. Free for those under 25 only for EU citizens again, ID also needed).
Elounda
After a short boat-ride of 15'minutes we arrive back at Elounda village to continue the journey , to Kritsa Village .

Pickup is available from main roads , partly from exits of hotels and predesignated pick-up points from Malia, Stalis, Hersonissos, Analipsi, Anissaras, Gouves, Gournes, Kokkini Chani, Karteros .
