Itinerary

We've now been on the road for just over half an hour, time for a short break. We stop at the viewpoint in Trengereid, from where we have a fantastic view of the East Fjord and the island of Osterøy. There is also a small bakery and public toilets here. We stay here for 15 min, driving time to the next stop is about 15 min

Discover the enchanting Mørkhølsfossen waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in Tysse, Norway. This small but picturesque waterfall is a delightful stopover on our journey to the Hardangerfjord. Easily accessible from the main road, Mørkhølsfossen offers a tranquil escape with its gentle cascades and serene surroundings.

Fossen Bratte

Fossen Bratte means steep waterfall and that is a statement: The river Eikedalselva thunders down in a single drop over 79 meters. We also make a short photo stop at this waterfall and then drive a few hundred meters along the old road to get an impression of what it was like to drive on Norwegian roads in the good old days.
