A value-priced cultural experience course to enjoy Japanese traditional culture easily. And this lesson offers you a unique double experience: the making of a gold “makie” crafting experience, and a lesson in the art of perfecting your matcha.

Experience the traditional Japanese craft of "kinpun makie (gold powder lacquer art)". Delicate and beautiful maki-e has a long history and is an art filled with the Japanese sense of beauty. Using this technique, you can create your own original mini coaster, the only one of its kind in the world.

You can take your finished work home as a souvenir. The coaster comes with a stand for display and can be enjoyed as an interior decoration.

In the Matcha tea experience, you will make your own Matcha and enjoy it with seasonal Japanese sweets.

1. Meet directly at the Osaka Culturarium Tempozan (2nd floor). 2. The guide will be waiting for you at the entrance. 3. The activity will start with the “Makie Crafting Experience” (Approx. 25 Minutes): - Choose your favorite design. ↓ - Apply the base glaze along the design. ↓ - Add your signature to complete the base. Next, start coloring with gold powder. ↓ - Layer gold powder in your preferred colors onto the base. ↓ - Complete your masterpiece with stunning gradients and colors. 4. The lesson will continue with the “Matcha Tea Experience” (Approx. 15 Minutes): - You will learn how to make Matcha Tea.  ↓ - Follow the Sensei's instructions to learn how to use the tea whisk.  ↓ - The guide will also give you tips on preparing hot water and the importance of having the right temperature.  ↓ - Once the tea has been prepared, enjoy it with Japanese sweets.
