Start your tour at the main square of Genoa known as Piazza de Ferrari named after the famous banker and politician Raffaele De Ferrari. One of the impressive features you will notice here is the fountain apart from interesting buildings.
As you continue, you will reach the Church of Jesus, and Saints Ambrose and Andrew. Although the facade is modest, the interiors have some of the best religious art collections in town.
You will then walk by the Doge’s Palace, the construction of which dates back to the late 13th century. It now houses a museum and is a center for cultural events and art exhibits.
