The Peristyle of Diocletian's Palace

Central square of Diocletian's palace, from which you can get to almost all other locations within the palace.

Diocletian Palace Substructures

Walk through the substructures of Diocletian's Palace that were used for the dungeons of Mereen. You will see the location where Sir Barristan Selmy fought back to back with Grey Worm against the Sons of the Harpy, and more famously, the Dragon Dungeon, where Daenerys imprisoned two of her dragons.

Learn a bit about the Roman temple of Jupiter, who Diocletian considered to be his divine father.

  • Under the arch on the north part of the square, next to the Cathedral and bell tower of St. Domnius. The meeting point is on Peristil Square, where the Luxor café bar is. Look for the yellow sign or yellow umbrella next to the tallest bell tower in the center of the palace.
