Considered one of the symbols that constitute the past and present history of Naples, known throughout the world for the eruption of 79 AD, which destroyed numerous cities of the time including Pompeii and Herculaneum with a rain of ash and lapilli. - Exciting and very suggestive, the visit to the crater of Vesuvius is undoubtedly one of those experiences that you absolutely must try. The excursion is suitable for everyone and does not require specific trekking preparation, it has a total length of almost 4 km between the outward and return journey, with a difference in altitude of approximately 140 meters and an average gradient of 14% until reaching the maximum altitude of 1,170 meters above sea level. - You will have 1.5 hours free to do this beautiful trek. Pompeii Archaeological Park
Pompeii is one of the most significant pieces of evidence of Roman civilization and provides exceptional information on the art, customs, crafts and daily life of the past. The city has re-emerged after centuries just as it would have been when it was buried in the layer of ash and lava from the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. In what had been one of the most active and splendid centers of Rome, life stopped definitively. - You will have 2 hours free to visit the ruins of Pompeii. If you want I can find a guide for you. Between one attraction and another, the customer can decide to stop for lunch and a wine tasting, typical of Vesuvius, in a beautiful restaurant not far from Pompeii, which overlooks Mount Vesuvius, has very beautiful gardens and vineyards. large, a horse riding stable and a swimming pool. For adults, together with lunch you can have a tasting of typical Vesuvius wines. Before or after lunch, everyone can take a guided tour of the cellars and vineyards. The lunch and visit will last approximately 2 hours.
