Begin your underground adventure at the historic Regis Shaft, the oldest operational shaft of the Wieliczka Salt Mine. Travelers will descend by lift and embark on the Miners’ Route – a guided expedition through raw, authentic mining corridors. During the tour, you'll walk through narrow tunnels, visit historical chambers such as St. John’s Chamber, Janik Chamber, Tanecznica, and Franciszek Karol Chamber, and take part in interactive mining tasks, such as measuring methane, hammering salt, or symbolic blasting. The guide – dressed as a miner – will explain historical and geological aspects of the site throughout the journey. The experience concludes with a symbolic miner’s certificate.

Be ready in the hotel lobby 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time: Morning tour: 08:45–09:15 Afternoon tour: 11:45–12:15 A member of our team will meet you there and accompany you to the Salt Mine. Meeting Point Pick-up – Additional Pickup Details: Please select one of the available meeting points in Krakow during booking: Dajwór 69 (Kazimierz District) Wielopole 2 (near Starowiślna Street) Pawia 8A (across from Mercure Hotel) Straszewskiego 14 (near Hotel Royal and Planty Park) Be at your chosen location at least 5 minutes before your selected pick-up time: Morning tour: 08:45–09:15 Afternoon tour: 11:45–12:15 A member of our team will meet you at the Kiss & Ride zone and escort you to the Salt Mine. Tickets Only – Self-Arrival – Additional Details: This option does not include transportation. Please arrive at the main entrance of the Regis Shaft at plac Kościuszki 9, 32-020 Wieliczka at least 10 minutes before your tour start time (10:15 or 13:15). You will meet the Salt Mine staff and join your group underground. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
Meeting / End Points
- Straszewskiego 14 – Wawel / Planty Park Area Meeting point is at Straszewskiego 14, near the entrance to Hotel Royal and Planty Park. Wait at the designated Kiss & Ride zone along the park side of the street. Our vehicle will stop briefly for boarding.
