Quick drive to Monasterboice High Cross and Rounder tower. These are the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement in the north of Drogheda. Our last visit to this area will be the famous Old Mellifont Abbey – first monastery in Ireland, dating from 1142. Listen with attention to your guide, you will found out an amazing history about “ Conspiracy of Mellifont” We drive back to Dublin to visit our last attraction: Pearse Lyons Distillery – a family-owned distillery (Tuesday this site is close) Pearse Lyons got a great location in a former St. James Church in the heart of Dublin´s Liberties .
