Royal Mile Budongo Forest
Budongo forest reserve is one of the best places to track chimpanzees in Uganda. Tracking is done either in the morning or evening based on preference and availability of Chimpanzee permits. This tour typically starts after a winding drive to the beautiful forest, with a briefing from your designated park ranger. Chimpanzee tracking is a three hour activity; that includes trekking to the chimpanzee community, having a full hour to interact with the chimpanzees and taking pictures and then walking back to the starting point. You shall also be exposed to other primates, plants and shrubs of this vast forest.
