The Anahuacalli Museum, whose name EN Nahuatl means “house on land between two seas ES”, is a visionary creation DE Diego Rivera together with architect Juan O’Gorman. Conceived as a studio, museum and temple for art, this unique space ENABLES you to appreciate NO only the vast collection DE crafts and pre-Hispanic pieces that Rivera gathered during his lifetime, but also contemporary works EN constant dialogue with the past.
Its monum EN tal architecture, inspired EN ancient Mesoamerican constructions and built with volcanic stone, makes it a work DE art EN se. Integrated into the natural environment of Pedregal, Anahuacalli ES also a City DE las Artes : a living place where it is exposed, created and reflected.
