Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel and a scenic drive to Ollantaytambo train station (1.5 hours). Board the luxury train to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a welcome cocktail, gourmet lunch with Andean ingredients, and wine pairing. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will guide you to a bus for a 30-minute zigzag ride to Machu Picchu. Explore the iconic citadel on a 2.5-hour guided tour, learning about its rich history and capturing unforgettable photos. Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes for free time, lunch, or shopping. Conclude your journey with a gourmet dinner on the train and a return to Cusco by 11 p.m.
Tickets to Machu Picchu: Ticket allocation will depend on availability on the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Peru. In the event that there are no tickets available for Circuit 2, you may be assigned Circuit 1 or 3, depending on availability. It is important to note that tickets tend to sell out faster the closer the date of use, so we recommend booking in advance.
The day before the tour, our team will contact you via WhatsApp or email to coordinate the time of the briefing, which will take place at your hotel. During this meeting, our staff will explain the tour in detail and will give you the train and bus tickets, and the entrances to Machu Picchu. We will also confirm the exact pick-up time at your hotel on the day of the tour.
