Drive along the emerald-green Fuschlsee and stop at its castle; take a picture from a great view point above the town of St Gilgen where Mozart's mother was born. You will have 2 hours to explore Hallstatt, where you can visit all the hidden gems and of course the must-sees and enjoy 7000 years of history. On our way back to Salzburg we will make a short stop at the Gosausee with the glistening Dachstein glacier as its backdrop.

We leave the city of Salzburg driving south to the German boarder, your private guide will explain you the history of the city of Salzburg and how, for many years, it was a independent principality ruled by the catholic church and the importance of salt and how it influenced the growth of the city. Other points of interest will be explained on route to the next location.
On our way to Obersalzberg bus terminal we will have a couple of great picture stops. Your private guide will show you where everything was located between 1933 and 1945. Places such as the Berghof grounds, entrance to the bunkers, SS barracks and much more. After giving you a mental picture and spacial orientation of the mountain, a scale model at the bus terminal will help you understand where everything was located.
