Pieve di San Giuliano a Settimo

The entrance to this Pieve is free but it hides some fascinating paintings.

The Abbey of S. Salvatore and S. Lorenzo a Settimo is a historic medieval monastic complex. Notable highlights include the impressive Romanesque church, the picturesque cloister, and numerous preserved frescoes and artworks. This abbey is a significant cultural and religious landmark in Tuscany. Unfortunately is not possible to visit the inside of this abbey unless you arrive before the Mass at 5.30pm

The pedestrian bridge over the Arno River between San Donnino and Badia a Settimo, near Florence, Italy, offers a scenic route connecting these two areas. Key features include its modern design, picturesque views of the Arno, and accessibility for both pedestrians and cyclists. This bridge enhances local connectivity and provides a pleasant spot for walking and enjoying the river scenery.

  • Meet us at Villa Costanza, in front of 'The Florence Gate' Café. Reach the meeting point by T1 tramway to Villa Costanza (get off at Villa Costanza stop which is the terminal stop). The ride is 20 min from city center. Our staff will wear an orange shirt and will be ready to make you an happy rider.
