Wahiba Sands
Embark on an exhilarating journey to the Wahiba Sands, a vast desert spanning 12,000 square kilometers, where shifting sand dunes change colors with the light. Known as "Rumlat Al Wahiba, or Al Sharqiyah Sands," this stunning desert landscape is home to the fiery Bedouins who have lived here for centuries. As you drive through the dunes in a 4x4 vehicle, feel the thrill of navigating the undulating sand, expertly guided by your driver. The ever-changing dunes, ranging from tall, sweeping sand ridges to smaller, more delicate formations, offer an unforgettable desert experience and are sure to leave a lasting impression on first-time visitors. Wadi Bani Khalid
After the excitement of Wahiba Sands, you will journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most beautiful and accessible wadis in Oman. On the way, you’ll drive through quaint villages nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views of the lush landscape below. Upon arrival at the wadi, you will be greeted by large, shallow pools surrounded by verdant vegetation. The wadi offers a peaceful escape, and a short trek will take you to the stunning deep blue pools, perfect for a refreshing swim. The surrounding cliffs and the tranquil atmosphere make this a serene contrast to the vastness of the desert.
