This is a 17th century chapel with a hexagonal plint, built on a rock right at the end of the beach. Legend states that it was the site of pagan rituals before the christian era. The main altar displays an image of Christ on a crucifix and the adjacent alter are of barroque style.

Aveiro, also known as the "Venice of portugal" due to its many canals through the city . The 45 minutes boat ride on the "Moliceiro" canal boat is a must . Adjacent to the canals on the other side are the salt pans Walk through the nearby quarter of Rossio to admire the architecture and the bustling market of the old town. We also have the option of visiting the old railway station and the Cathedral. While on the way to Aveiro, you may visit the historic museumroviders
