Kylemore Abbey, a Benedictine monastery and popular visitor attraction in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland, was originally built as a castle for Mitchell Henry in 1868 and later became home to Benedictine nuns who fled Belgium during World War I in 1920 . This is a must see while visiting ireland.
