Create your personalized Piñata knowing its history and exploring the most significant corners of the Merced neighborhood that give it meaning. Our meeting point will be at Café Bagdad, located in a house dating back to the 1700s. We will begin our tour through the streets of the former Tenochtitlan until we reach the oldest market in Latin America, Mercado de la Merced. There we will observe the great variety of piñatas that exist today, comparing them with the traditional ones and understanding in a visual and concrete way the history that we will have learned. We will take advantage of our stay in the market to explore it and try some typical and unique flavors that Mexico offers. We will return to Café Bagdad totally inspired by the colors and flavors absorbed in the market. To create our piñatas we will locate ourselves in one of the oldest rooms of this café, its canteen. There you will be offered a variety of materials that will allow you to display your creativity to make your personalized piñata. It is small in size, with the intention that you can take it with you, as part of a unique and special memory of Mexico.
