Join us on a journey through history, culture, and natural beauty as we explore some of Western Crete’s most captivating spots: We'll begin with a local olive oil factory, where you’ll discover how Crete’s famous olive oil is produced. Enjoy a guided tour followed by a delicious tasting of various oils and local products. Next, we’ll visit one of the oldest olive trees in the world, believed to be over 3,000 years old. This natural monument is a true marvel, and you’ll have the chance to walk around it, take photos, and learn about its incredible history and symbolism. We’ll travel into the scenic mountains to reach Theriso, a historic village surrounded by dramatic gorges and lush nature. Here, you’ll learn about its unique role in Cretan resistance history, explore the local culture, and enjoy some traditional snacks or lunch at a family-run taverna (optional). Finally we’ll visit the charming Old Town of Chania, where cobblestone alleys, colorful buildings, and centuries-old architecture come together in a lively atmosphere.
