Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo
The famous Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo, one of the most famous mummies cemeteries in the world. Here in the company of an expert local guide, we will know the history of the over 2,000 embalmed mummies including the famous Rosalia Lombardo, called the Sleeping Beauty of Palermo. By visiting the various corridors of the underground cemetery, we will be able to understand much of the Sicilian society of the past and the various methods of mummification invented by the Capuchin friars.
