This self-guided 3/4-day ride starts with a prompt shuttle bus departing from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to their bike hub at Arrow Junction (7 km from Arrowtown). There, you'll be fitted with a bike and given all the details for your ride.
The first section covers 6 km (4 miles) of scenic trail, following the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges, crossing the Edgar Swing Bridge, and reaching the iconic Kawarau Bungy Jump Bridge.
From there, enjoy cycling through the Gibbston Wine Region, where you can stop at as many cellar doors as you like. The full ride covers around 17 km (11 miles) of undulating, gravel trail.
