If you want to see some great examples of Yugoslav design, be it architecture, industrial or graphic design, discover hidden flea markets or take amazing photographs of this weirdly interesting city, join me and create your very own Belgrade experience.

Belgrade hides so much history and things hidden in plain sight will help us understand it. Street art, contemporary and some that are more than a 100 years old, cake shops, destroyed buildings, underground train stations and flea markets are just some of the things you will get to see and learn about it.

Here you will get a chance to see some great street art, with stories of their own and an alternative outdoor gallery space.

This streets has many stories to tell and one of them is of a cake shops with an interior that seems to be frozen in time, and the time being the 80s. It has amazing looking cakes that you can see in the photo gallery for this experience.

A market that has not one, not two but three separate sides to it. The one we are gonna give most our attention to is the flea market part!

Meeting Points

  • Our meeting point, Bezistan, is a (semi covered) passage between two busy squares - Terazije and Nikola Pašić Square. In the middle of the passage you will see a small fountain with a girl holding a shell.

End Points

  • We end the tour at Vukov Spomenik, near the faculty of Architecture. From there it's a 15 minute walk back to the city center, in a straight line.
