Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

Tiananmen Square is a large public square in the center of Beijing, China, located in front of the Forbidden City. It is one of the largest city squares in the world, covering 44 hectares (109 acres). The square is surrounded by important landmarks, including the Monument to the People’s Heroes, Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, Great Hall of the People, and National Museum of China. It is a symbolic site for national ceremonies and historical events in modern Chinese history.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, is located in the center of Beijing, China. It was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, built between 1406 and 1420, and served as the home of emperors for nearly 500 years. Covering about 720,000 square meters with over 8,000 rooms, it is the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden palace complex in the world. Today, it is a museum displaying extensive collections of Chinese art and cultural relics and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Note: Transportation time and visiting order may vary due to traffic conditions. If Palace Museum tickets are unavailable during peak seasons, you will visit Prince Gong's Mansion or the Lama Temple instead.

Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings located in southeastern Beijing, China. Built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty, it was used by emperors to offer sacrifices and pray for good harvests. Covering 273 hectares, it is famous for its grand architecture and symbolic layout, including the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Circular Mound Altar, and Imperial Vault of Heaven. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist attraction and public park.
