La Fortuna de San Carlos
After a 25-minute drive, we will arrive at a beautiful reforestation area. At the entrance to the project, we will learn about the history of the area, the sustainability efforts made, and the positive impact on the community's socioeconomic development thanks to the recovery of ecosystems that have attracted an increasing number of species to these new forests. Next, we will begin a walk along a small trail where we can appreciate the typical forest of this region, with areas in different stages of growth. Afterwards, we will plant a tree in a reforested area, a valuable contribution to the protection of Costa Rican forests. You will receive a planting certificate with the tree's coordinates so you can monitor its growth from anywhere, at any time. After completing this environmental contribution, we will visit Doña Saida's house, where she will teach us how to make corn tortillas, and we will enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious homemade bread.
