We use wooden bows and arrows that replicate ancient and medieval technology, offering an authentic experience to our visitors. Τhe participant can shoot using various historical bows : Turkish, Magyar, Scythian, Sarmatian, English Longbow, Primitive, Assyrian and others. Your experience begins with a brief yet captivating introduction to the historical background of bows and arrows, setting the stage for an enlightening exploration. Our expert instructors will then guide you through comprehensive safety protocols, ensuring your utmost security throughout the activity. Next, you'll learn the intricate step-by-step process of properly handling the bow and releasing the arrow with precision and grace. Meet
Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
The two possible meeting points, are the ones where the BUS Station is (Interurban bus station - KTEL Florinas) and the nearby Train Station is (Florina Customs, Sidirodromikou Stathmou). Florina is easily accessible from Thessaloniki, with regular KTEL bus and train services (approximately 3 hours). Additionally, car rental from Thessaloniki is an option, providing a journey of about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Meeting / End Points
- The meeting point is at the village (Leptokaryes) 12 minutes by car from the nearest city of Florina, infront of the local church. We will meet you there and we will all go to the near open fields (aprox 100-200 metres) for the start. Cars can also access the start point.
