Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
Saqqara is home to Egypt’s oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid structure ever built. The site also features ancient tombs with stunning carvings, and several pyramids of later Egyptian Kings.
Memphis and Sakkara
Memphis was the first capital of ancient Egypt, founded by King Menes. It was a major political and religious center, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Although little remains of the city, its ruins offer a glimpse into Egypt’s glorious past.
Giza Pyramids
The Giza Pyramids have one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (the pyramid of King Cheops "khufu"), featuring the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The site is also home to the iconic Great Sphinx.
