Alcatraz Sausalito Express Floating Homes Historical Tour
Get up close and personal with the famous Sausalito Floating homes. Enjoy an one hour guided tour to explore the docks and even peek inside two homes. Our private tour offer insights into the richness of floating home living and engage in meaningful historical conversations with guides. You’ll also see a few of the battered survivors from the old era of improvised houseboats of the past with luxurious multilevel vessels with sweeping water views.
Guests will enjoy bonus time in Sausalito to enjoy world-class dining, artists, and boutiques before returning to San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf by included van or ferry.
This tour will typically start with an early morning assigned time Alcatraz Ferry ride to step foot on the island ($46 value). Guests will have at least two hours to explore the Alcatraz cell house and experience the audio tour.
Some dates start with mid morning Sausalito first and then end with a late in day Alcatraz. We will assign the order of the days events.

Guests start and depart from Wharf by ferry or van. Email will be sent two days prior with instructions on how to visit Sausalito.

Guests will experience a one hour historical tour walking through the neighborhood of the famous Floating Homes.

Ticket Redemption
We will issue your order of events and assign Alcatraz tickets two days prior at the end of the day. We will either assign Muir Woods before Alcatraz or Alcatraz after Muir Woods. We will help guide your day in advance and allow travel time for both attractions. Guests will ignore Viators "Get Tickets Now" button as that does not attach Alcatraz entry tickets. We will email Viator vouchers to you in additional messages. Guests should look for a message from your local operator with exact reporting times and locations two days prior at the end of the day.
