Walking with your feet in the water for much of the journey completely transforms our relationship to the landscape. It’s refreshing, fun and highly multisensory: an adventure in living form that evolves with the current
Start: We start with a nice walk of about 10 minutes, on an accessible path that leads us to the entrance of the gorge. Entry into the gorge: From here, we leave the shoes! We engage barefoot or in water sandals in the river. For about ten minutes, we progress through the clear water to a point called Lataille, the first highlight of the walk.
Final crossings: To get out of the gorge, we cross the river three times in succession, one last refreshing immersion before putting on the shoes. Ascent of the mountain: Finally, we start a 35-minute walk uphill, between forest and unobstructed view, to return to the starting point, with memories full of head.
Back to Lataille: We go back through the river, always through the water for about 10 minutes, to return to Lataille and pick up our shoes. Walking by the water: Once you put on your shoes, you follow the river on a nice trail for about 30 minutes. It is a quieter section, ideal to observe the fauna and flora and enjoy the calm of the place.
